Things in life often happen very quickly. Before we know it, a decision that we make in a moment of rage can change the direction of our lives, creating a pause or alternate route, and changing things for better or worse.

According to police reports, police were summoned to a domestic aggravated battery call at Chestnut Terrance in West Monroe, LA. The victim told police his girlfriend cut him with a knife while they were arguing. It is alleged that the suspect, Shacassity Y. Armstrong told her 11-year-old son to get a knife, which she used to cut the victim. When the suspect got the knife, she used it to cut the victim's left thumb, which was confirmed by the police. The suspect was soon contacted and found by officials. When asked about the cut on the victim's hand, Armstrong told police to ask the victim. Armstrong and the victim had been living together for about seven months since 2019. The suspect was arrested and booked for domestic abuse battery, aggravated battery, and child endangerment.
