Some of the North Louisiana legal legends recognized included Attorney Diane Hill, Administrative Judge Brenda Irving, Attorney Roland Charles, Judge Robert Johnson, retired Judge Carl Sharp, Attorney Arthur Gilmore, Attorney James Ross, retired Judge Ben Jones, Attorney J. Garland Smith, and Attorney Charles D. Jones.

The Louisiana Judicial Council of the National Bar Association convened its 26th Annual Conference in Monroe, Louisiana, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Northeast Delta African-American Heritage Museum. Comprised of African American judges from across Louisiana, the council held its President's Reception at the North Louisiana Heritage Museum, where several distinguished legal figures of north Louisiana were honored.
