The Monroe Chapter of the Southern University Alumni Federation held it's annual Student Reception on July 20, 2024 at G.B. Cooley in Monroe LA. The reception was held to recognize students from the Monroe area who will be incoming freshmen for the fall 2024semester. Also during the reception, the 2024 Monroe Chapter scholarship recipients were presented with their awards; Christina Gary( Franklin Parish H.S,.), and Ajahrah Tucker (Ouachita Parish H.S.).
