Our community mourns the loss of an admirable man who lived a life of honor dedicated to his wife and family. Jimmy L. Briggs Jimmy L. Briggs was born to the late Louvenia Cheffin of Allen Port, MS and Ephriam Briggs of Start, LA. Jimmie retired from Holsum Bakery after working 40-plus years. He had a passion for hunting and loved dogs. He often combined his two passions, saying his dogs could hunt rabbits, squirrels, and fish.
