A memorial tribute honoring the life and legacy of Coach Hershell West was held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Rayville Rosenwald/Eula D. Britton Alumni Center in Rayville, LA. Prayers, tributes, and songs of gratitude were offered in memory of the late Coach Hershell West. Among the programmed participants were Coach Johnny McCaa, Larry Wright, and Rev. Richard Wilson lll among other programmed guests' tributes.
