Louisiana's State Budget Updates

The Louisiana Legislature has committed hundreds of millions of dollars to infrastructure projects and maintaining teacher pay in the state budget plan that goes into effect on July 1, 2024. Lawmakers also backed LA Governor Jeff Landry’s tough-on-crime agenda with funding for adult prisons, juvenile justice services, and a state police expansion.
