Born in the 80s, I can honestly say I have had great childhood and coming-of-age experiences that spanned across significant decades. My house is musical, and I remember things like records and a record player, but the portable cassette player stood out to me most. I remember the yellow Walkman my dad wore as a symbol of pride and significance.
