We loved him, but God loved him more. James Earl Shaw was born on June 29, 1968 to the late Mrs. Louise and J.C. Garden. James went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 31, 2020. He was very kind and friendly. James loved his wife , family and friends. He had a tremendous respect for people and believed in treating people as he wanted to be treated fairly. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish precious memories are his wife Sharon Shaw, six daughters Jemil Helaire, Mercedes Helaire and Bre Mathis Houston TX, Kenya Battle (Ronald) Dallas TX, Alexandra Hamp Baton Rouge LA, Mytasity Mathis Monroe LA, five sons Terrion Taylor, Robert Shaw Houston TX, DeVonta Mathis, Ashley Anderson, & Shuneal Mathis, two brothers Larry Shaw (Peggy) Monroe LA, Trell Gardener Bastrop LA, three sisters Deborah Bradford (Melvin) Austin TX, Deloris Shaw Monro LA, Moniquea Gardner (Calvin) Bastrop LA with the love of ten grandkids and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
