Making the Best

Recently, it’s come to my attention and realization that life isn’t promised. Yes, we sometimes hear it, but I never truly let it sink in. Looking around, I’ve noticed how much my life has changed and how fast time moves. One minute, I’m watching the sunrise and complaining about how hot it is outside, and the next, I’m watching the sunset. I know you probably think this is irrelevant, but I’m getting there. One day feels like an hour, a month feels like a week, and a year feels like a month. We take so much in life for granted, and it kills me that we don’t pay more attention. The everyday things in life that we take for granted, like being able to get in the car and go to the store without complications, are so wonderful. Yes, at the moment, they seem small and don’t seem important but are. There are so many lost souls that would do anything just to come back for a day and just go to church or even sit on the front porch and enjoy the view. What I’m saying is that tomorrow isn’t promised. We don’t know what the future holds, and there’s no way of us predicting it. Yes, we could go to psychics and get a palm reading, but what’s the fun in that? Why aren’t we living our lives to the fullest and not regretting a single thing? It doesn’t matter how old or young; everyone deserves to live a wonderful life. It doesn't matter whether you’re in high school, about to graduate, or retired with grandkids. You want to go to the movies and just eat popcorn like crazy? Do it. You want to call that one special person and spend the whole day with them? Do it. What’s holding you back besides yourself? Nothing. Anything we set our minds to is possible, and it’s important not to let anyone ruin your inner peace. So sometime this week, I want you to do that one thing you haven’t done. I can’t tell you what it is, neither can your husband, wife, or kids. Live your life as you’ve never done before and feel the euphoria within yourself. Make the best of it, and allow this one thing to be the foundation for you to truly start living life to the fullest.
