Driverless Car Hits Home

A tragic scene played out in one south Monroe community before the clock struck midnight on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. The homeowner had just gotten up from her chair in her bedroom to turn out the lights in her kitchen when she felt her home shake and heard a loud bang. Her initial thoughts were that her house might be collapsing. To her dismay, another horrible incident happened. A driver struck into the corner of the home.
