Alonzo M. Taylor

Sex trafficking is when an individual(s) are compelled by force, fraud, or coercion to engage in commercial sex acts. Sex trafficking of a minor occurs when the victim is under the age of 18. For cases involving minors, it is not necessary to prove force, fraud, or coercion. According to police reports, Ouachita Sheriff's office had been searching for a missing female juvenile since March 29. A tip led deputies to suspect Alonzo M. Taylor, who told investigators he had seen and had sex with the missing juvenile at his home. Suspect Taylor arranged a ride for the minor with suspect Demarrio D. Randle. Randle informed investigators, he picked up the juvenile female from Taylor's home, transporting her to another home of a new suspect, Leroy Abraham. Officers contacted Abraham at his home and said the minor was there. After being with Abraham, the juvenile minor had been with him from Saturday to Tuesday, where he had sex and charged her for room and board. All three suspects had an alleged conversation about pimping the juvenile. Suspect Taylor was booked and charged with trafficking children for sexual purposes. Suspect Randle was arrested and charged with trafficking children for sexual purposes, and suspect Abraham was charged and arrested with trafficking children for sexual purposes and possession of a stolen firearm. There are three sides to every story. This was one side of this story. The Monroe Dispatch welcomes another or the other side of this story.
