Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Many young Monroe natives are doing great things both in town and throughout other cities and communities across the globe. Karriem Wilson, a registered nurse, is helping to save lives every day. He lived in Texas for several years, but was recently inspired to return home at the encouragement of his childhood friends Jason Jacobs, his wife Shantelle Jacobs, and James "Skip" Benton Jr. The Jacobs own Pure Mind Counseling and Wellness, a flourishing practice that provides virtual and in-person counseling to Louisiana residents. Attorney Skip Benton recently started his own law firm, the Law Office of Skip Benton LLC. These four distinguished individuals are inspired to give back to their community in their home state of Louisiana.
