Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Political, criminal justice, and citizen participation evolution and change is occurring throughout america. On July 11, 2020, there will be a Monroe Mayor and Council election. This is a very important election that will determine mayor/council representation. Many Monroe voters expressed concerns over Go Vote Monroe Blacks/Poor the City of Monroe’s decline in population to below fifty thousand people, which translated into the loss of major city status (fifty thousand people and above) and loss of dollars in state and federal financial assistance.
