Family Remembers Loved One

The family of Jimmy Mitchell, the young man who was killed in an automobile accident, recalled fond memories of him as he is laid to rest. Mitchell was a backseat passenger in a vehicle that hit a tree on Jackson St. at Egan in south Monroe on July 29, 2024. Two other passengers who were injured in the accident survived. The family wants to stress that there was no high-speed chase involving law enforcement; the accident occurred before any pursuit began.
