Lack of Repairs ...Eviction

A Monroe woman is in a dilemma during one of the hottest times of the year, as the air-conditioning in her apartment has been out since June 28, 2024. It has been a very frustrating time for Sandra Blanche, who has been trying to stay cool despite numerous attempts to repair her unit to no avail. When the Monroe Dispatch interviewed Blanche, it was very hot in her apartment, and two fans were barely making it tolerable to stay inside. Blanche has been living in her apartment for about six years, keeping mostly to herself. She doesn't "bring" any attention to herself as she enjoys her solitude....
