Disclaimer: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. On March 30, 2024, a shooting occurred in Charles Johnson Park in Monroe LA, according to the Monroe Police Dept. At the time of the shooting, police made no arrests, though they had a suspect(s) under suspicion that were considered to a person of interest in the case. Two victims were injured in the shooting that happened in the 1400 block Bernstein Park Drive. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
