Louisiana governor Jeff Landry is in the news, as he had some unkind words to say about the LSU women's basketball team following their loss to Iowa in the NCAA tournament. Somehow, Landry became aware that the Lady Tigers were not on the basketball court during the national anthem playing. Never missing a step to proclaim his love for the country, Landry is now urging the state legislature to draft a bill that he would eagerly sign, revoking the university scholarship of any athlete absent during the national anthem.
