Watch Your Words

We're in a time where many people don't think twice about what they say. They use hurtful, vicious, condescending, and even toxic words. Then, many wonder why so much negativity surrounds them. The atmosphere is defiled because many mouths are defiled. Jesus said in Matthew 15:11 that it isn't what goes into someone's mouth that defiles them, but what comes out of the mouth instead. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that words kill and also give life. We determine if our words are poison or fruit. Luke 6:45 teaches us that what we speak reflects what's in our hearts.
