Contrary to popular belief, I highly dislike living in the south. I'm not Cajun or Creole, but I'm from north Louisiana, which has loomed over me most of my life. I skipped kindergarten, and instead of being praised or accepted for it, everywhere I go in north Louisiana, I'm constantly being torn down or discredited.
