The suspicious death of a young female had been shrouded in mystery since its occurrence, with many stories circulating about what transpired on that fatal day. According to police on February 9, 2024, the Monroe Police Department (MPD) responded to a report of an injured person on Winnsboro Rd. in Monroe, LA. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a 35-year-old female victim. Her death was later determined to be a homicide. Police arrested 26-year-old Kevontay Haynes on charges of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Kidnapping, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The identity of the young female victim has not been released, and her name remains a mystery.
