An evening to remember unfolded as Vickki and James "Shack" Harris graciously hosted dinner for family and friends prior to the dedication of Grambling State University football field to Harris Williams Football Field at Eddie G. Robinson Stadium, Grambling State University, in Grambling, LA. Held at a local restaurant in Monroe, LA, "Dinner with Shack" saw many friends from Bryant's Addition in attendance, all gathering to honor the legacy of James "Shack" Harris, NFL's first Black Starting Quarterback from Carroll High School and Grambling State University.
