The community, along with family and friends, mourns the passing of the esteemed individual, Deacon Ricky Banks. Deacon Ricky Banks, aged 72, ascended to glory on Saturday, February 3, 2024. He dedicated his life to serving both his church as a Deacon and his community in Corrections Enforcement. A native of Monroe, LA, he received his education from the Monroe City School System. Mr. Banks devoted 44 years to Corrections, progressing from the role of Sergeant to Deputy Executive Director.
