Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Disclaimer: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An Ouachita Parish woman is behind bars after being arrested on a charge of Attempted Second-Degree Murder. Monroe Police began looking for a wanted female during the early morning hours on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, who was a suspect in an alleged crime. The female was identified as Valarie Davis 45. As of press time, Monroe Police have released no details of what happened, as the investigation is still ongoing. Before the suspect's arrest, MPD had asked the public for assistance in locating the suspect. When additional information is released, The Dispatch will publish the details.
