On December 15, 2023, Ouachita Parish Sheriff Deputies responded to a battery complaint in the Brownsville-Bawcomville neighborhood of West Monroe, LA where they identified a male and female victim. The male victim recounted a verbal dispute with the suspect, Jaterrious Burks, escalating to a physical altercation.
