A man wanted by Union Parish law enforcement authorities was shot and killed by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies. According to reports on December 10, 2023, the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office to locate an individual wanted for a homicide alleged to have occurred in the Crossroads community in Union Parish.
