Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Many know of Lazarus’ story, but what we don’t consider sometimes is WHY it had to happen. Why was there even a need for a resurrection, when Jesus could’ve just gone on and healed? If Jesus loved Lazarus, why did He wait? Lazarus’ sisters Martha and Mary implied the same thing. They both told him how if He had been there, their brother would have lived. That’s what everyone was accustomed to- Jesus's healing people & casting out unclean spirits, but He wasn’t showing up this time as a Healer. He was showing up so they’d get to know Him AS THE RESURRECTION. Maybe your wait has you stressed out, and you feel like the Lord should’ve and could’ve been stepped in. You feel your situation stinks right now, and you just want to give up. Let me encourage you: Sister/Brother, there is nothing too hard for God. Just because He didn’t show up how you expected, it doesn’t mean He isn’t showing up in an even greater way. It’s time for you to know more of Him; so, keep going. Don’t give up. A miracle is on its way! This Had to Happen.
