Apartment Fight

Disclaimer: All persons are innocent until proven guilty. If you look up and see two people fighting, it's difficult to tell who's right and who's wrong. According to local law enforcement authorities, police were summoned to a residence on Highway 80 East in response to a physical disturbance between two females on November 3, 2023. Two persons attempted to diffuse and separate the two women and an arrestee. Suspect Adrian Sampson sprayed pepper spray on one of the victims as a means of trying to de-escalate the fight. Upon being sprayed, one of the victims became disoriented and fell through an apartment window, causing it to break. Suspect Makayla Curry used a broom handle, striking a victim in the head multiple times during the fight. Curry was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery. Sampson was also arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery. There are three sides to every story. This was one side of this story.
