Every year the month of October sends me through so many emotions. My grandfather's, the late Rev. John Allen III, birthday is at the end of this month. It is specifically on October 31st. My grandfather passed away when I was just about to turn 13 years old. He was the most wise and strongest man I knew. Of course, I felt like I was his favorite grandchild.
