Shooting plagues continue to claim the lives of people of color and others. An alleged shooting happened recently when people riding on highways heard shots fired near a Circle K gas station in Jonesboro, La. When deputies arrived, they found Bre'unte Hicks, 26, had been shot. He was transported to a hospital by the parish ambulance service, where he died from his injuries.
