Grambling State University will celebrate its homecoming Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Eddie G. Robinson Stadium. During the homecoming game, the Grambling football field will be named after former Grambling Quarterbacks James “Shack” Harris and Doug Williams. James “Shack" Harris was a football standout at Carroll High School in Monroe, LA, Grambling State University, and the National Football League (NFL).
