Psalms 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. If there is one thing that is lacking in today’s society, it is the fear of the Lord. God has become such an option to many now, that anything will suffice. Many are carrying around statues, placing them in their homes and workplaces bowing to them. It’s quite astonishing. Who wants a god that has to be carried, when we have the true and living God to carry us? Men/Women have also become idols today. Many worship and praise leaders and whom they deem to be celebrities, instead of worshipping God. With such erroneous ways, this is why the world is in such horrible shape. It's time for everyone to return back to a place where the fear of God is restored. It’s time to leave the mentality alone that encourages, “Do whatever makes you happy.” Too much of what displeases God, makes others happy; why encourage that? Because of the lack of fear of the Lord, families, communities, cities, nations and this world are suffering greatly. We need to get back to where we fear the Lord, honor His statutes and obey His Word. If not, the woes will multiply, and many will weep and mourn more and more.
