A community meeting was held on August 1, 2023, at the Marbles Community Center near Carroll High School in Monroe LA, where things like homecoming activities, witness statements about an ugly incident in Franklin Parish, and other issues were discussed. The school's football team will play the annual homecoming game Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM instead of the Friday before.
