Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

BB&O Annual session will convene at True Vine Baptist Church at 1600 Dilling St. in Monroe LA on Saturday, August 5 – 9. The Mass Choir Musical will be at 6p.m. Saturday August 5, 2023. On Sunday August 6 at 4pm Usher Director Anna Horne will give her Address followed by President John Perry, Sr. giving his Address at 5p.m. Classes will be held Monday – Wednesday 5:30– 7:45pm. Dean John Russell will give his address at 8p.m. on Monday August 7. On Tuesday August 8 Laymen’s Director Charles Ellis and Women’s Director Rosie Horne will give their Address at 8p.m. On Wednesday August 9, the youth will take charge at 8p.m. with a Musical and Pres. Joshua Swan giving his Address. Special guest will be youth group H. Y. P. E. “Humble Youth Pursuing Excellence” under the direction of Courtney Wallace, Jr. Rev Dr. Stonewall Hunter, Jr., Pastor, Rev. John Perry, Sr., President
