Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Monroe Police made a grim discovery after responding to a call recently. On Monday, July 3, 2023, at around 4:30 PM, officers were alerted to respond to a call in the area of Jackson Street and Plum Street. Upon arrival, officers found the body of a deceased male. The male was identified as 51-year-old Randall Parrott. As of press time, there have been few details from MPD, but according to the department, there did not appear to be any foul play involved in the man’s death. MPD also said that after an autopsy has been performed, a cause of death will be determined. Law enforcement authorities say that the investigation is ongoing.
