A rash of shootings continues nationwide, and even many local communities are finding that they are not immune to the sound of gunshots. The same can be said here in the northeast region of Louisiana. In Ouachita Parish, Monroe Police were called to the Parkview Apartments on Friday, May 5, 2023, around 6:00 PM in response to a shooting.
