Grateful Hearts

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. When you think of gratefulness, it should be very often; honestly, everyday. Thankful hearts are joyous ones. With all that’s going on in the world today, there shouldn’t be a time that we forsake giving God thanks. It’s such a blessing to still be alive, thankful! (enough) and in our sound minds. Many have left can, and they can no longer give thanks. It’s been hard; so, it’s understandable that many aren’t in the mood for feasts & fun this year. It’s even understandable that tears are sometimes unavoidable, when family gathers, but empty seats where familiar faces once were, are so apparent. God is a healer and comforter though. In life, we have all kinds of disappointments and pain, but I challenge you to fix your eyes on God. Think of all the things He has done. Think of the precious time He gave you with loved ones. Think of all you still have. Think on the goodness of God in your life; then, truly thank Him. Better days are coming! Until they do, thank God for every day that has come. He’s still faithful; so we still have a reason to be thankful! Grateful Hearts 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
