Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

"Tawanna James and The Gloria Chorus will present their annual Black History Cantata Saturday, Feb. 18 at Greater New Antioch Baptist Church at 6PM with the theme: "How Can We Not Keep Singing!". Special musical guests will include soloist Irene Boyd; the Monroe, LA Chapter of the GMWA; and others. We will honor our Pillar in Music Award recipients as well as posthumously honor the legacy of persons that impacted the local music community in the past. Admission is free; and all are welcome to come and rejoice with us! We hope to see you there."
