It saddens us to announce that Martha T. Caston passed away during the morning of December 17, 2022, at the age of 98. She was born on May 28, 2024, to the union of John Alex and Ollie Thompson and grew up in Monroe Louisiana and attended Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church. Martha enjoyed a lifelong career as an educator teaching during segregation which required her to travel in 1952 to Crowley, LA to teach at Ross Elementary School, Acadia Parish. After segregation ended and schools were integrated Martha worked in Monroe, LA, Ouachita Parish, where she continued her teaching career...
