Northeast LA Delta African American Museum Board Members, as my term comes to a close, I have reflected much on the museum's accomplishments since 2020. I would like to note that no organization's success is possible without the support of its board of directors. I would not have had the success I had without the unfailing support of several board members and the board's manager of public relations and marketing who worked so untiringly with me. As your outgoing president, I want to thank you for the privilege of allowing me to represent the Northeast Louisiana Delta African American Heritage Museum Board for these past two years. Under my leadership and vision, there have been challenges and trying moments; however, my intent has always been to forge the museum's direction and vision to engage itself in policy, planning, and implementation to help advance and bring historical artifacts and exhibits to our community. Further, I have attempted to lead the museum in remaining consistent and true to the values and principles that reflect the culture and mission of the museum.
