Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Pine Hill Baptist Church (Brick Yard) in Rayville LA celebrated 95 years (1927-2022) on October 23, 2022. The church is still holding up the blood-stained banner and the congregation is no-ways tired. It was a joyous occasion, where Pastor Albert L. Woods prayed and preached. Sister Alexia Elder welcomed family and friends; Deacon Solomon Payne read the deed. Historical reflections were offered by Mrs. Annie Staten and Deacon Rilly R. Randle recognized past members and families. The program was guided by" From Sword to Pen," Deacon Arthur "Silver Fox" Edwards. Dinner was served!
