Newtown Reunion

One of Monroe's oldest communities became tighter and celebrated its Newtown Reunion on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Jazz Club on Washington St. in Monroe, LA. It was a special celebration, reminiscing those years living in the Newtown Projects, never forgetting whence they came. At the Newtown Reunion, former residents enjoyed fried fish courtesy of Newtown legend Bay Willis, fellowship, and fun.
