Anytime in the Bible, where blood and violence were upon the land, so were curses. That land was defiled. It was deemed worthy of God’s wrath, especially when the people did not repent. Plagues, disorder, disunity, severe lack and punishment were in places such as this. The blessings of God were withheld. Monroe is as one of these places. Violence and misery are all throughout the city. Bullying (especially adults), fleecing of flocks, idolatry, violence and so much more, are in the land, and honestly, it’s destroying Monroe. You can even see the desolate look of the city. It almost looks forsaken in certain areas, to the point of desolation. There is only one solution Monroe, and that is for leaders and all to humble themselves, pray and turn from your wicked ways, as stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14. God is not mocked. More than what’s seen now, will come upon that land, if His voice is ignored. He has destroyed whole cities before, sparing a few. Monroe can be a blessed land. God can surely touch it, and make it clean. It’s up to the inhabitants though. Corporately, there is a need for prayer and repentance, from the leaders on down. I pray that someone will listen and stand up. Enough is enough!
