Hearts are saddened at the unexpected death of Janetta Gill, who tragically lost her life. Family and friends are still shocked by her untimely passing. Janetta was killed in a shooting a little past midnight Friday, September 23, 2022 on Richwood Rd. No. 2 that also left a male victim wounded. When Monroe Police arrived at the Parkview apartments located on Richwood Rd. No. 2, in Monroe, LA, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. MPD gave few details concerning the shooting as to how it happened and under what circumstances. Following an investigation, MPD announced they are seeking to find two individuals concerning the shooting. The alleged suspects have been identified as Jerimiah D. Bluford and Ronnie Jones. Police say that the two individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. The Monroe Dispatch will share more information as it becomes available. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
