Attorney Zebbie Grayson

On October 4, 2022, Monroe, LA native Attorney Zebbie Ann Grayson will present in-person to the United States Supreme Court in Washington, DC, along with 11 other attorneys from the ABA Supreme Court Bar Admissions Program. The process consists of a Motion for Admission of the Applicants followed by a formal swearing-in ceremony to the distinguished United States Supreme Court Bar. A Carroll High School graduate and Southern University Law Center alumna, Attorney Grayson served on the editorial board of the university's Law Review. She published work entitled Marshall's Dream Deferred: Almost Four Decades After Brown, the Vestiges of De Jure Segregation Linger as the Implementation Process Continues. 20 S.U.L. Rev. 53 is included in Westlaw Journals and Law Reviews and continues to be cited in various scholarly and legal publications. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable Benjamin Jones and Carl Van Sharp. She later became a felony prosecutor for the Ouachita Parish District Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted cases in conjunction with the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District through the Project Safe Neighborhoods Initiative. District Attorney Jerry Jones later appointed her to the Public Corruption Team of prosecutors. Attorney Grayson now resides in Atlanta, GA, where she practices federally for the United States government.
