According to police reports, a shooting happened on Monday, August 22, 2022, where a Bailbondman was involved in shooting a victim on Hwy 165 S near Interstate 20. A victim was found on Hwy 165 S with a gunshot wound after being hit by a Bailbondsman while the victim tried to run away. Several other Bailbondsmen attempted to subdue the victim by firing their weapons at the victim, too, as he was being sought because he had extremely high bond rates from numerous charges.
