Lawrence Newman and Bennie Jean Lewis united in Holy Matrimony at the lovely home of Bennie's parents, the lateMrs. Onita Lewis and Mr. Rufus Lewis, on August 6, 1962. Lawrence's parents, the late Mrs. Rosie Newman and Mr. Eddie Newman, were also present among the many guests on that happy day. The couple resides in Los Angeles, CA, where they became the proud parents of three sons, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Newman believe in putting God first in everything. They are blessed and grateful to God for the many gifts the Lord has bestowed upon them. They acknowledge a sincere thank you to everyone, especially relatives and friends who helped celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary! Happy 60th Wedding Anniversary, Lawrence and Bennie Newman!
