The Stewart Family is a Gold Star Family because of the death of Sergeant Edward Stewart, who was killed on August 10, 1968 in the Viet Nam war. hosted a dedicatory ceremony of the "Staff Sergeant Edward Stewart Memorial Computer Resource Center" at the Emily P. Robinson Community Center in Monroe LA at their 2022 Stewart Family Reunion in Atkin Quarters on Saturday July 9, 2022. The Stewart family donated computers to the computer resource center.
