No Struggle, No Progress

PRAYING STUDENTS

*Inspired by God through Mary Roggerson & Morning Prayer Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Nolley, St. Mary Baptist Church

Purpose: For all children to learn, pray and confess the Word of God.

Goal: For all children to have an intimate relationship with God through prayer and His Word.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Yea, if thou cries after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou sleekest her as silver, and searches for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:3-5

Prayer: Father, I come seeking after You and Your Word. I come with a hunger in my heart to listen, to learn, and to understand Your Word. I cry for insight and ask for understanding. Lord, I am willing to invest time and energy to learn. I make a commitment to study Your Word daily. According to Your Word, if I do this, I will understand the fear of the Lord, and gain knowledge of You. Praise be to God! Confession: I apply myself diligently to God’s Word in order to gain spiritual riches that are more valuable than gold and silver and jewels.

Wednesday and Thursday

For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6

Prayer: Father, You are the God that gives skillful and godly wisdom, and out of Your mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Thank You for giving me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. I open my heart completely to Your Word.

Confession: The Lord gives me wisdom. His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding.

Friday and Saturday

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous; He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. Proverbs 2:7

Prayer: Father, I am thankful that in Christ I am righteous with His righteousness. I praise You for Your sound wisdom. You are the shield that protects me as I walk upright and in integrity. Glory to God!

Confession: The Lord grants sound wisdom to the godly. He is my shield, protecting me, and guarding my pathway.
