Town and Country Shooting

No community or neighborhood is immune from shootings and shots being fired. Ouachita Parish law enforcement officials said that what was thought to have been gun fire, has been confirmed to be a shooting that happened on Monday June 13 on Rosewood Dr. located in the Town and Country area in Ouachita Parish. No one was injured, but a bullet hole on a side window of an automobile in the area, showed that a shot was fired. According to Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office(OPSO, the shooting was result stemming from an alleged domestic dispute. Over a period of an investigation that lasted approximately 24 hours, the OPSO announced that an arrest had been made in connection to the Monday shooting. Johnathan Rashon Williams has been arrested and charged for his alleged role in the shooting. Williams is charged with: Aggravated Assault Upon a dating Partner, Aggravated Damage to Property, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the Presence of a Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Williams is being held in the Ouachita Correctional Center. Disclaimer A person is innocent until proven guilty
