Another shooting in the area has claimed the life of another one of our young men. This shooting occurred on April 14, 2022. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a 17-year-old boy was killed in a shooting in the Tanglewood community, just south of Monroe. Officers say that the shooting happened around 3:30 PM when they arrived at the scene. They discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
